Phillips II Plus Cabinet Screws have engineered pull-down rings that pull the cabinet tight to the wall’s surface. This is important so the cabinet doesn’t pull away from the Sheetrock.
When mounting cabinets, be sure the screw goes through the drywall, into the back brace, and then into a stud. If the stud is missed, the cabinet screw will not have enough material to bore into and hold weight. You will know you’ve missed the stud when the screw spins and does not seat.
ACR stands for anti-cam-out recess. There are ribs on the driver bit that engage the patented recess to reduce stripping, provide increased torque, enhance off-angle drivability, and offer a stick fit that makes screw driving easier. Phillips II Plus Screws can be driven with a standard square bit, a Phillips Bit, and a Phillips II Plus Bit. For the features of the patented ACR system, we recommend the Phillips II Plus Bit that is included.
