Patented (pending) Ribbing

Unique ribbing has been engineered into the Carriage Bolt and Lag Bolt for less slipping. A traditional square or hex head has four points of contact. Phillips II ribbing gives more surface for the wrench to grab hold of. You’ll note that the Phillips II Carriage Bolt has an elongated square under the dome head. This aids in seating the carriage bolt without stripping the wood. Have you ever tried to tighten down a traditional carriage bolt and just have it spin?

Carriage Bolts

The Green Coated Carriage Bolts come in a package of five with the correct size washers and nuts. No more sifting through bulk bins to make sure you have the right parts. Phillips II Carriage Bolts are coated with the proprietary Green Durafast coating with a lifetime guarantee against rusting. Works in today’s pressure-treated lumber including ACQ and Micronized Copper. The green color gives a customized look to your project. Paint and stain will adhere to the top of the bolt.

Lag Bolts

The Gray Coated Lag Bolts come in a package of five with the correct size flat washer. Our lag bolts and flat washers are coated with our proprietary Durafast gray coating for a lifetime guarantee against rust.

Phillips II Carriage and Lag Bolt coatings will not prevent staining or streaking related to weather and surface punctures on woods that have not been properly treated and sealed.
